Ground the pump using the ground wire terminal under the motor. It can be connected to an electrical ground or a service ground. Using a copper bonding wire, bond the pool pump to the pool. Figure the power loads of appliances used to the connector wires and size the circuit breakers. Connect all the circuits and attach it to motor.
