Start with the most obvious imperfections. Does the surface dull, worn or aged? Are the edges rolling up from not being glued correctly? Do you see the laminate sagging into the joints or nail holes from the sub floor not being filled correctly?

Well you should basically contact the people who installed them and explain the problem they should be able to help.

Usually you want to look at the lesser of the imperfection and then work your way up to the worst of them. Once again don't use anything with alkali or acid in it this will only worsen the scratches of indentations. You may also want to look at what causes these imperfections in the first place.

Avoid alkali cleaning liquids, scratches and abrasion. For cleaning use vacuum cleaner or a floor-cloth soaked in soap solution. Stick some scratch-preventers on the legs of your furniture.
