How do I take out a transaxle on a Honda Civic LX?

Unless you have a LOT of mechanically experience and all the special tools then you really shouldn't remove the transaxle yourself. If you think you can do it yourself I would purchase a repair or service manual to get a detailed description of the entire process with pictures.

You will need to take the car in to have it fixed. Or you can go to an auto parts store and get a manual. Tell them the make and model of the car.
