How do I skip the voicemail message on the various cell phone carriers?

Most of the time you can just press "0" or "#" and it will send you to the beep. If you hit "*" it gives you access to listen.

Check in your phone settings and turn of the alerts for new voice mails , you can also contact your carrier to help disable the alerts. If still need the voice mail service but want to turn of the alerts just silent the voice mail alert setting in your cell phone.

Which buttons you have to press depends on your phone and carrier, but erasing or saving a voicemail will skip onto the next one.
