The best option is to take your dog to a groomer as this can be very tricky; however if you insist... Buy a shaver with a guard so that you don't cut your dog. Trim down the unruly mess then shave it even.

Most people experienced with husky will recommend you do not shave your dog. Dogs have natural ways of cooling themselves, as they could not shave themselves in the wild before they were domesticated. Shaving your dog may result in sunburn or a parasitic infestation.

Do this very carefully with a special trimmer that has a guard to protect the dog's skin from being cut.

The best thing to do would be to take the husky to a groomer to get shaved. You'll need a special razor to shave a dog with that much fur.
