How do I reset Nextel's voicemail passcode from a landline?

Call your Nextel phone number from a landline and wait for voicemail to start. Press the star key on the landline phone,enter the current passcode then the pound key. Press 4 from the menu to access options. Press 4 again to access preferences. Press 1 to initiate the change, then enter the new passcode followed by pound key.

You can call up your account administrator and ask them to go online and reset the password for you. They can do this easily.

You can dial your cell phone from the landline and when you hear your personal greeting hit the star button on the landline phone. It will take you to the back end and you can check your messages or change your passcode from there.

Well i honestly don't think you can reset it from the landline. You can basically just reset the pass code through customer service or basically call your cell number and reprogram it.
