How do I replace the oil pump in a Taurus 30.0?

Drain the oil out, unbolt the oil pump and replace new one. If the oil pump went uncap one of the main bearing and then check.

There is no easy way to replace an oil pump especially in a newer car like a Taurus 30.0. If you would consider yourself a novice at best when it comes to car repairs i would suggest that you speak to your mechanic. If not, get your car manual and get to work.
