First turn off the water. Remove knob from faucet. Remove the faucet from faucet body. Find the washer (usually a rubber oring type or flat rubber type on bottom of faucet stem) remove and replace. Reverse procedure to reinstall.

Your best bet is to call your landlord to do it. If you don't have a landlord, then you're going to have to check the Yellow Pages for someone qualified to do it. It can be a real hassle but it's something we all have to do eventually. No point in getting upset!

Unscrew sections of the shower, lay the pieces on a towel. Remove the old washers, take to a hardware store, purchase replacements. Insert new washers into openings, screw shower together.

Take the shower head off and take out the old washer. Go to the hardware store (not the Home Store) and see if they have the washer. Key word old.

When replacing the washers in your shower, you will need to unscrew the knobs and remove old washers and replace with the new ones then screw the knobs back on.

Old washers in the shower can be replaced easily by first opening the shower, taking out the old washers after opening up the screws and then placing the new washers purchased in place thereof and then screwing up the shower once again and this would do the entire job of replacing.
