i use either white spirit or mentholated spirit on a damp cloth, that should lift it. test the substance out on an unseen piece of the jacket first though to make sure it does not remove any of the colour, i. e on the inside somewhere. also after removing the pen wipe again with a clean damp cloth.

Applying a product with high alcohol content, while not pure alcohol, lightly rub the stain without scrubbing the spot, as this may damage the leather.

Get a dry erase marker. Test on hidden area. Rinse area with hot water. Draw over the permanent marker with the dry erase marker. Wipe with a lint free cloth.

The easiest way to remove the stain of a permanent marker on leather would be to take some rubbing alcohol and wipe it over the mark until it comes clean.

Mr Clean Magic Eraser. It works on everything. I have used it many times to clean many stains and its the only thing that works.

Take a warm wet sponge and rub it gently over the area of the leather where the stain is, and it should come off.

Use petrol on cotton wool and wipe it off gently untill it clears off completely. Make sure there are no open fires nearby as you do this.
