How do I remove a Jeep anti-theft system?

Answer by  JohnHolmes (2660)

The system will be difficult to remove if it is on a later model vehicle because the on board computer will not allow flow to the engine if it detects it has been tampered with. You will need to see a Jeep dealer to have it removed.

Removing the system will probably be next to impossible. You could just remove the fuse that controls the system. If another accessory is controlled by that same fuse, you can rewire the accessory to a different fuse.

This isn't a job for a person with no knowledge about removing an anti-theft system unless you have a manual for your Jeep. You should take your Jeep to a Jeep dealership or any other professional.
