You will be feeling really bad cramps, and your water would probably break so you will feel like you released yourself without control. Though sometimes it can be false labor.

There are many indicators of labor pain and they vary from woman to woman. If your water breaks, you will be very wet and will know that you are about to give birth. Seek medical attention immediately.

You should notice some lower back pain or contractions. Sharp pains that come periodically. Your stomach will tighten and contract and get more painful as time goes on. When your water breaks you will still have plenty of time to get to the doctor.

Once your babies head is engaged you can have labour any time. The early labour starts with back pain and some cramps in stomach. But for some there is watery discharge or bleeding and pain starts. You can very well know because you will feel uncomfortable when the pain starts.
