How do I identify wild berries?

A good field guide should be helpful, make sure you read the descriptions and warnings that are provided in the manual not just look that the pictures. Be extremely careful if you are planning on eating these berries because they can be dangerous also there could be foreign chemicals present on the berries.

Given how poisonous some wild berries can be, it would be safest not to. You should carry a pocket field guide to help you identify them. Avoid any berries growing on vines, berries from plants with red foliage or stems, and do not eat any berries colored white or orange-red.

wild berries can be found in bushes. if they are wild you will not find them in the stores. they are fresher

If you are in the wild and see berries, they are wild berries.

Well, there are a lot of ways to identify wild berries in the forest. First, there is color. Most berries can be identified by the color of the berry. Blueberries are a dark bluish color, where juneberries are a reddish cranberry color. Another way to identify is location. Where the berries are found is critical to when you eat it.
