Tomato plants are hardy and easily grown. They can be cultivated outdoors depending on your location and time of year, or inside at any time of year. It is better to start with a young plant than a seed for someone new to growing tomatoes. Be sure to keep them well watered and give them lots of sunlight.

Growing a tomato plant is easy. You can cultivate tomato plants with less care. You must at least put some dried cow-dung to the plant that's all.

Start out by planting the seed in a small pot. Make sure it has plenty of sunlight and water it daily. When the plant grows, support it with a stick. Plant it outdoors for the summer, either in a large pot or in your garden. Continue to water it daily.

You need a sunny spot in your yard. If you don't have a lot of dirt, you can plant the tomato in a pot on porch. You should give the plant some food--either compost or fertilizer--at the beginning of the season. Another key is something to hold the plant off the ground like a cage.

Start out the seeds in a small tray. When they get bigger transplant them to a large 20-30 gallon pot with soil good for growing vegetables. Water them every day and place in plenty of sunlight. When they get bigger, get a tomato cage and tie the stems to the cage for support.

Buy a starter plant when nights stay above 50 degrees. Plant in enriched soil, laying plant on it's side with just the tip coming out of the ground.

tomatoes grow in a vine, so the best way to do it is to get a cross fence so that the plant can grow up it, and not bruise them.

Wait until last ebefore planting. As the plant grows either stake or cage to keep fruit off the ground. Water frequently and pick off any tomato worms.

There are two ways - seeds and already started plants. The second is the easiest. Make sure they have a place where they can get sun and water.

First you go buy a healthy plant. Then dig a hole large enough so you can put the plant in it securely and mound the dirt high around the plant. Water the plant regularly, and fertilize it until it starts to bloom. Never let it get too dry.

You can buy a plant (recommended). Plant deeply up to the first set of leaves and water. Support with a cage or post. Feed with a general fertilizer every couple weeks. You must have at least 8 hours of sunshine and continual water. If you have dead or wilting leaves pick them off as they need air circulation.
