If you can not afford to do manicures very often, i would suggest you save up to do one to start off. Have them fix up your nails and paint them. Once you get your manicure your job is to upkeep your nails. Take care of them, Use gloves while washing dishes, trim the when necessary, apply a nail hardener.

Keep your nails clean and don't bite or chew on them. Regularly cut and file your nails. You can soak them in soapy water, then apply lotion. Give them two even coats of your favortite color polish.
