How do I fix a problem with the start button on my Bosch dryer?

The button was not making good contact with the micro switch/button and this was the problem. A little dab of hotmelt glue helps the outside button now make proper contact so for almost a year it is running well.

Is it jammed? I would need more info, but you should try calling the company and getting some support. Is it old or is it a defect?

If you are handy, you should be able to take the face off of the control panel and see the problem. If you are no comfortable with that idea, call a proffesional.

Remove the button and clean it out. Sometimes some gunk gets built up in there and it wont work, otherwise you need to fix the wiring itself.
