If you enter the name of the book and the word "summary" into your search engine, you should find results from a variety of sources. Many booksellers include a synopsis, as do many of the reviews. Sparknotes is a good online resource.

If you are a student, you should try sites like Pink Monkey or All-Readers. Each of these sites have most major and many minor works online. Also, Cliff Notes And Jiffy Notes are now available online.
