If you enter the name of the book and the word "summary" into your search engine, you should find results from a variety of sources. Many booksellers include a synopsis, as do many of the reviews. Sparknotes is a good online resource.

Using the title, author's name and including the word 'Plot' or 'Summary' on a search engine is the beast way to find it's summary. If you are a student, you should try sites like Pink Monkey or All-Readers. Each of these sites have most major and many minor works online. Also, Cliff Notes And Jiffy Notes are now available online.

Any search engine on the internet should lead you to a book summary. By typing in the book title an author, one can easily locate summaries to the book they wish to summarize.
