Go to the website of the treasury or revenue department of any state you lived. It will have a website search page for unclaimed money, be it apartment deposits, utility deposits, closed bank accounts, tax refunds or unclaimed pay checks. Fill out their claim form, send in proof of your identity, and the money will be sent to you.
