How do I change his behavior if my cat bites?

If the cat is stalking and pouncing you can clap really loud it discourages the behavior. Cats can be moody animals, you just have to desensitize them to the provoking stimulus.

Anytime the cat bites, stop what you are doing. Either she does not like what you are doing at the time, or she assumes the biting is acceptable because of how someone plays with the cat. Try backing off and make only slow, cautious movements with the cat, including when you pet her.

The next time the cat tries to bite, have a spray bottle filled with water on hand and spray him, or swat him lightly with a newspaper.
