First, locate the circuit breaker or fuse in the main panel for that outlet and shut it off. Then, use an electrical tester to confirm that the outlet is off. Then remove the cover plate, pull out the plug, and unscrew the power leads. Then reverse the process.

The outlet of current will go through only by negative line. The negative line is mostly given by the E B board. We may make outlet through the ground also by proper earthing.

First turn off the circuit breaker that controls the outlet. Remove center screw on cover and remove. Remove 2 screws holding outlet in the box and pull outlet out of box. Loosen side screws to release wires. Attach wires to new outlet and reinstall in box and reattach cover.
