Anger is shown by pinning ears back, and possibly baring teeth, or turning to kick. Pleasure is shown in a variety of ways. When you scratch a spot that really needs it, your horse will stretch out his/her neck and extend lips making a silly face. My horses particularly enjoy grooming, and will push up close while I brush them.
