I just looked in my high-school yearbook upon my 20th reunion and surprisingly found a lot of notes about being a flirt--and I was afraid to approach girls then! Be yourself. Be funny. Stand out. Like the song: "I've got you under my skin.. ". She'll be knocking your door down.

Just be nice to her. Ask her if you can get her a drink if you get one for yourself. Sit with her at lunch. Ask her if she would like to go for a walk or some other simple thing. Share a joke with her. Ask how she is doing, and really listen to her answer. Just be nice!

You don't need to tell her. Show interest when she talks. Hold eye contact with her a second or two longer than usual. Do little things for her.

Why be subtle? It's going to work or not, lay it out there and let the chips fall where they may. You might just have to move on.
