You should start by searching the obvious - if you know people in a bank or other similar places they could check it in database. If not, you can always hire a private investigator.

You can go to www.whitepages.com. There is a tab that is labeled "reverse address". It will ask for the address, city, and zipcode. Enter the proper information in and the it will send you back, as long, as the person is listed, their name and phone number. Otherwise, knock on the door and find out.

You can try to run a search online to find out who lives at an address (maybe that person has a Facebook account with their address on it).
