It depends on why your breasts are tender. I know a vitamin called Prim Rose can help with breast tenderness. Always seek medical advice. And ask your pharmacist if it interacts with any medication you are taking. If it is related to menses your Doctor may be able to give you something to help with PMS in general.

First, make sure you are wearing a supportive bra, and one that does not pinch you or constrict in an uncomfortable way. If you are still having tenderness, a hot shower may help, or moderate amounts of ibuprofen.

Make your burgers rare. "The more animal proteins you eat, the slower your body will excrete estrogen," says Susan Doughty, R. N. , a nurse practitioner at Women to Women, a clinic in Yarmouth, Maine. This excess estrogen often winds up in breast tissue, which is particularly sensitive to hormones.

In a study that took place at three medical centers in Toronto, 21 women with severe symptoms were randomly assigned to receive either general dietary advice.
