How can I use my iTouch as an EKG?

You will need to download the Heart-EKG application in order for this to work. There is also an instant ECG application. These can be downloaded from the iTunes application store.

A function EKG requires metal contacts to connect to someone. Since the iPhone/iPod Touch doesn't have the connections, it wouldn't be possible. You might be thinking of the app called Instant ECG. It has videos of EKGs to compare to help you understand what you are looking at.

You cannot currently. It would require two leads, left and right, to the clavicles. It would also require the right program.

There is software for looking at and interpreting EKG information, but nothing to read in real time a persons heart rhythms.
