How can I tell where a certified letter is from?

When you sign for the green card it will have a return to sender section on it. Look there to find out where it is from.

The notice from the post office should have a zip code, which will help narrow the possibilities. You may be able to have someone at the post office tell you who the sender is. Otherwise, go the post office and ask to see the letter before you sign.

I'm assuming you got a notice of attempt to deliver, and want to know the sender. Try calling your local post office. If you tell them that Postal Form 3849 does not tell you who the sender is, they may be able to help you.

All certified letters contain addresses on the top of the letter. Or if not, the envelope should have an official address signed with the organization name. It is very contingent that there is proof of location.

Its very easy to figure out where it came from. All you have to do is go down (or call) the post office or whatever service it came from, and hand them the envelope. They can find the source in 1 min

You can always tell where a certified letter is from by looking at the FROM address where the name of the addressee in invariably written on the cover containing the letter.

Well any certified letter must have a logo on it of the company that is sending it. The certified letter must also contain a contact number and name. Then you can contact them and see if it is legit.
