Hold the rabbit by its hind legs and look at their rear end. There are two holes, the one at the back is the anus. If you push either side of the front hole a tube pops up with a hole in the end, it is a male. If there is a slit it is a female.

In males, hairless flesh-coloured testicles become apparent at 9-20 weeks old. If the rabbit might have been fixed you will have to press each side of the genitals to see if the penis (tube-shaped)pops out (a smooth vulva will pop out in females). Do an internet search for rabbit sexing pictures that make it clearer.

With the rabbit on its back, hold the tail downward and look at the sex organs. A small pink slit is a female and rounded tip is a male.

Flip the rabbit over onto it's back. Make sure it is comfortable or it will fidget and be hard to sex. If your rabbit is a boy and has not been fixed there will be two flesh colored testicles. Ff she is a girl you can press gently on either side of the hole and look for a slit.

Firstly, place the rabbit on it's back so that you can see between legs. There are two holes in that area, upper being the anus and lower one being the genitals. Try to gently touch and press down with your finger. You should feel and see either a round tube, which means its male, or a slit, meaning a female.
