How can I take the rear seats out of a BMW E30?

There are 2 bolts, both under the lower cushion. Lift the cushion (may be bolted or clipped). Find bolts on either corners. Remove them using a wrench. Now the seat is free. Just pull it off and you are done :-)

On the front of the rear seats, there is one lever. Pull that lever up and slightly to the right until you hear a specific sound, like a spring release. Now you need to capture the seat firmly and pull forward until you feel that they got rid.

which is done simply by pulling upward forcefully until it pops out. Next you will need to remove the seat back release
