Sanding is the only sure way to avoid discolorations from solvents and removers. Dismount the doors, lay them on saw horses and power sand them clean.

You can buy paint remover and apply it to the door. Apply it with a towel. Or you can use special clear coat remover.

You can buy a sand paper from your local hardware store and gently rub it on the area that is affected by the coat. The stain will gradually wear off.
