Just ignore it! If she's in a safe place walk away, pick up a book, and pretend to read it. React and her tantrums will continue.

Often these fits are for attention. Talk to her and say tantrums are not acceptable. Sometimes it's easier just to ignore her. She should stop after not getting attention.

If at home, walk away. Make sure the child is in a safe environment, then walk away, preferably into another room. Without an audience, the tantrum should stop.

Whatever you do don't give in to her demands. Be gentle, calm, but clear that her behavior is unacceptable.
