You can start off by creating a website so that people can look you up online. You can also pay a search engine to advertise your site. You can also put up fliers all over town and people can see the flyers and give you a call. So get started!

In order to receive more revenue from your carpenter business I would get some local advertising, etc. You could also ask you client to tell their friends and family.

Try the following: 1) try Craigslist, 2) see if there's a Mom's Network in your community 3) ask your prior satisfied customers for referrals.

Do some volunteer jobs, such as at a church or social service agency. Your work will be appreciated and hopefully public enough that lots of people can see it. Because you have done something nice (and hopefully high quality), that will encourage people who are associated with that church or agency to hire you.

Offer referral fees to any prior clients who refer new clients to you. Offer a discount to repeat customers. Offer your services to Habitat for Humanity and get publicity for the donation of time. Offer the cheaper odd jobs you can do, such as repair cabinets, to earn new business.
