The only way to get free cable tv for any length of time is to pirate it, which is illegal. Depending where you live, the fines if you get caught might be substantial, so it probably isn't worth it. Some cable companies offer one or two months free to start.

Word in one, you can't. You can try to hook into an existing line, but you will get caught. Use your wireless to get great free programs on sites like hulu, you can also use your computer to view recent shows on CBS, etc. Netflix is very inexpensive.

Why would you want to go to jail for theft? Trust me, the cable company WILL find out what you are doing and they will prosecute.

The only legal way of doing this is signing up for a cable plan that gives it to you free for a couple months and then you start paying for it.

don't listen to any off the comments above. they are all scared. if you want free cable just cut and screw it in. the cable co. will only unhook it if the even notice it. times are hard and cable is $50-$60 a mo. just for basic.

Trying to get cable for free usually ends up being illegal. You can, however, use a splitter to convert one cable input into 2 and lead it to 2 different televisions.
