The outgoing mail server will use simple mail transfer protocol or SMTP for short. You can contact your internet service provider and ask them for your outgoing SMTP server's name or address. This information can also be obtained by sending yourself an email and checking the originating server in the email header.

This very much depends on where you are. If you are in a company you could try asking your local system administrator. In case you are at home, you might try calling the help desk of your internet service provider.

I can find outgoing mail server by contacting with the Internet Service Provider (ISP). This is because different ISPs have different outgoing mail server. So, you can take help from ISP help/support location. For outlook: Go to the tools then select account, click mail tab, select mail account and then click properties. Click server and find SMTP (Outgoing mail).

One way to find the name of your outgoing mail server is to send an email message to yourself and check the message headers. You can also check Port 25.

Well if you want to know where your mail is being sent, then all you have to do is go to the outlook express and see where it is being sent. The i.p. address will be located there and from there you will see where the emails are being sent.

The only way to do this is to ask you Internet Service Provider or network administrator, as this information cannot be automatically discovered.

Your Internet service provider, email server provider, or email account provider should provide all details on the outgoing mail server. If this is not the case, but you have access to a connected client software such as Thunderbird or Evolution, those settings should be in that programs settings menu.
