Call your local health department and they can tell you when and where to go. Flu season begins in late fall and continues through winter. Injections should be taken between October through the winter months. However, you can get flu anytime the virus is present.

Flu shots are given during fall and winter; they are outdated by summer. The walk-in clinic at your local hospital would have shots if they are still available.
