If you want to end a program when your task manager disable you have to run cmd and end the program by writing commands. If it's not work restart your system.

First you have to reenable Task Manager. 1. Click Start-Run. 2. Type gpedit. msc. 3. Select User Configuration-Administrative Templates-System-Ctrl+Alt+Delete Options-Remove Task Manager. 4. Double-click the Remove Task Manager option. then disable or enable.

Without task manager, it looks like the only way to end an unresponsive program is to do a hard reboot (holding the power button until the computer turns off). Next time enable task manager! It's not harmful, and unless you run a library, very helpful or useful. So yeah. You learned your lesson.

Well, for starter you can restart your computer to end the program. After that, I would go back into your control panel, then to the systems tools, and turn your task manager back on to prevent future issues.

Programs can be disabled through the command prompt. The command "taskkill" is used for that. example:firefox web browser became non responsive. in the command prompt type: "taskkill /im firefox.exe" will end firefox. "taskkill /?" gives you a available options for this command. tasklist gives you a list of running processes.

There really is no way to and that's why it was created. But the next best thing you can do is restart the computer.
