Go for a top-heavy silhouette. Keep the legwear skinny (tight jeans, leggings) and pile on vests, tops, scarves etc, in co-ordinating, rather than clashing, colours. Finish with a simple piece of knitwear or a leather jacket and ankle boots or bowling-style shoes.

Use Google languages, and type in 'street fashion' (for example) in the language of the country that interests you. Use Google translation on the resulting search pages and enjoy looking at the fashions. Imitate what appeals to you. If you don't mind spending lots on shipping, order clothes online.

You need to look neat, coordinate colors and cloth needs to be ironed. Focus is more on the visual rather than practical and comfortable. No loud colors and designs.

Adult Europeans don't go around in jeans, sneakers and tee shirts with words on them. Wear nice pants or a skirt, walking shoes, and wordless shirts.

You can start by going to your local bookstore and picking up a foreign fashion magazines, like Vogue and Glamour are also published in Europe. There you will find information on the current European trends. Also, conducting internet searches for European fashion designers will give you an idea of what's happening in fashion.
