Hello, I have a 200 Honda Accord coupe and this is my tail light problem. When I turn on my head lights my rear lights do not turn on. What is the problem?

It could be many things. The wiring harness may have become disconnected. The bulbs may need to be replaced or the fuses checked. Or it could be a bad switch.

Have you checked to determine if your bulbs are burnt out in the rear?. That would be the first thing to check, if the bulbs are good, next would be to check fuses there may be a short that is preventing them to light up. You can also check wiring to check if there is any breakage.

There could be an electrical short, a fuse could be out, or tail light bulbs could be blown. Check fuse box for blown fuses, this is most likely the problem. Check every fuse, because sometimes several circuits run through one fuse. Next check all rear lights for burned out bulbs.

You have a blown fuse in the fuse box. You will notice that your dash lights aren't working either. Try replacing the fuse and if it blows again you will need to find the short circuit in the wiring. Some problems that can cause this is a blown reostat, the thing that dims the dash lights may be shorted out.
