The Master Cleanse diet is very low in calories, and does not include nutrients such as protein and vitamins that you need every day. There is not scientific evidence of its cleansing properties. Other liquid diets are healthier. A low-calorie balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, and protein is most healthy.

The diet is largely a laxative-based diet without any foods. One of the ingredients also includes lots of maple syrup so you will be eating a lot of sugar.

The Master Cleanser diet, and any cleanse diet, can be very dangerous if not administered under careful supervision from a dietician or doctor.

I have not tried about it but have make some research about it. It is also known as a lemonade diet. It was not designed for weight loss but have been used for detoxification which means to flush away the toxins. Health professionals would advise to avoid this diet if you have any chronic medical illness.

have done a cleanse and I can definitely say it wasn't fun at first, but I felt much better when it was done. I was much more regular afterward and I was able to eat more foods without worrying about constipation among other things.

Yes I tried it. I'm either very weak or I did it wrong. I didn't lose any weight, but I could only do it one day. It was discusting.
