Style hair spray works just as well as any other inexpensive hairspray brand. As long as you don't need your hair to be hard as a board then yes, it works very well. If you're just looking for a hairspray that holds your hair in place and provides a nice, polished finish then this is a good choice.

Style is okay, but if you want something that won't budge, try Aquanet. They have new formulas that don't give that old helmet head feeling, and a couple that are even water proof. Style only works if you do not plan on being very active, such as if you work in an office.

Yes, it does. The best way to use hair spray of any kind is to spray it on and finish it with your fingers to get the correct look and hold you desire.
