Does SkipDoctor get scratches out of CDs?

I used this product and it had what I would say is a 90 percent success rate. It worked best on store bought cds not on burnt ones. After it you will see a strange pattern on the shiny part of the cd from the product sanding the coating down a little. Only didn't work for me on large scratches.

I have used the skip doctor with good results. The model I used managed to repair about 8 to 10 CD then the wheel was wore out fairly quickly which was disappointing. Couldn't repair one but it was badly scratched. It a viable option to save a important CD.

It does not remove the scratches from the CD or DVD. It resurfaces the disc with very fine sand paper. Sometimes it works well, other times it does not.
