Revlon Blackhead Remover does not work as one would expect. This remover makes the skin look cleaner but after using for a few weeks it actually clogs your pores more.

It is better to get rid of blackheads by using creams and scrubs instead of forcing them out. You could easily damage your skin and leave scars with an instrument like this. I've used a blackhead remover before and it ended up just hurting my skin and rarely gets the blackhead out.

It is moderately effective. The tool works best if your skin has been steamed first - for example, try using the tool right after taking a hot shower.

It's not new, but a new design. The new design doesn't work as well as the old one, but it does work if used correctly. Using the smooth end like a "spoon" you can scoop the blackhead out and is generally not as painful as other similar products.
