Beach weddings are wonderful if you're good at adapting to a sudden change of plan (weather, wind, birds, spray, biting bugs, etc). The most difficult part, for the women, is trying to walk on the beach (or trail to the beach) in heels. Perhaps you could consider a very informal wedding at Sunset followed by Food and Drinks! You and your fiance should do what you want to do and plan what you believe will be a memorable and special wedding. The location is your call, and doesn't rest on whether people like beach weddings. If a beach wedding is your idea of the perfect setting for a romantic ceremony, that's definitely what you should do.

Beach weddings are wonderful as long the weather plays along. (wind/rain) To play safe, I suggest to have a traditional wedding with the reception afterwards at/ near the beach.

A beach wedding can be beautiful but often not practical due to weather restrictions. It's important to have a Plan B.
