Do you have to have a teacher certification to work at a Christian school?

I do believe you have to have a teaching certification to teach at any accredited school, especially a Christian school since most of them are private schools which cost money for students to attend. If you are concerned about the teachers at her school it might be worth looking into a transfer.

At most christian schools the teachers have to have state licenses to teach. It used to be true many years ago that christian school allowed teachers without licenses to work for them, but as school sought large student bodies and wanted to upgrade their curriculm the trend changed to using teachers just as good if not better than public schools.

Some schools may not require certification, I would say most do. It would be way important to have a bachelors degree to even apply at a christian school. The coursework would need to be close to what ou plan on teaching. If school is accredited they want a certificate.
