There is no such thing as a miniature cocker though some mixes may be called that. There are small spaniels such as Cavaliers, King Charles, and English Toy Spaniels which have sweet temperaments. A good cocker also has a nice temperament and usually show quality ones are not huge. A female is usually smaller than a male.

This is a very loving dog who gets along well with children and other dogs. Sometimes they like to bark. They love attention and they love to play. The dog is intelligent but is also very energetic and will need lots of exercise. For best results you should expose the dog to children and other pets while he is young.
