Do teeth re-grow?

I am worried about my son who plays hockey. If his teeth get knocked out, will they grow again?

If your son has lost all of his baby teeth then no they will now re-grow. After you lose your baby teeth, your adult teeth come in and if you lose those then you won't have any teeth. If your worried about it take him to the dentist and they will make him something that will look just his own.

Baby teeth do get replaced. However if he has his adult teeth those do not grow back. You have to get them replaced with false teeth. You can get a mouth guard or a face mask to protect them from any harm.

If he still has his baby teeth they will eventually fall on their own. If he's older and he already grew all his new teeth there is no chance others will grow instead. A dentist could replace them with fake ones if necessary.

Tooth does grow until some age, once the milk teeth has fallen and the permanent teeth has come up, extraction of the permanent teeth will cause permanent damage.
