Do Spacemaker coffee makers make inferior coffee?

They are very similar to many popular traditional types that just sit on a counter. They're just an option for those that don't have a lot of counter space.

I have owned a Black & Decker Spacemaker and they work very well but remember that brewing a great cup of coffee is not a mystical process but depends on the quality of the coffee you use, how fine it is ground, and the purity of the water you use. The "maker" makes little difference in the process.
