Do kittens react to catnip?

It's best to try when they are kittens. For some they will go crazy for it, others like it but don't act like they're on drugs, and some don't notice it at all. It just depends on the cat as to whether they will like it or not. My kittens didn't even smell a huge pile on the floor.

Kittens are no different than cats when it comes to catnip. It is a magic drug cats cannot resist. I would be judicious in how much catnip you give to a kitten. Cut down the amount you give to an adult cat by at least half and don't give it to cats or kittens very often.
