Some say that Clorox tablet cause damage to the toilet and bolts inside it over the long term. They also should not be used for those with septic systems, as they can cause problems within the tank over time. People on city sewage systems should not have much of an issue.

yes clorox tablets could cause damage if they somehow got in your mouth and you swallowed them it could cause bad side affects.
