The "Clear Word" was written by an Adventist scholar as a paraphrase of the Bible, making it easier to understand. It has been criticized for changing the meaning of many parts of the Bible to support Adventist views. However, it has not been officially endorsed by the Adventist church either.

As a devotional exercise, Dr. Jack Blanco paraphrased the Bible from a Seventh Day Adventist's point of view. After sharing it with family and friends, they encouraged him to publish it, which he did in 1994. Like all paraphrasings of the Bible, this one is controversial. Some Adventists preferring it as their Bible of choice while others disregard it completely.

Yes, although it is not endorsed by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Apparently this bible was created with the intention of para-phrasing and expanding on the stories in the bible through translations such as the King James version to aid in the bible studies of a former professor at Southern Adventist University

It is not a different version of the Bible, as the Ethiopian Bible has books that no other denomination has and the Eastern Orthodox Bible which excludes "Revelations". The Clear Word is a study guide for the Bible. It was created by Dr. Jack Blanco, an Adventist. It is not endorsed by that church but is printed by their press.
