Did "Wicked" premiere in Chicago?

No, the premiere of "Wicked" was in San Francisco, at the Curran Theater, in May of 2003. (The Broadway premiere was in the winter of the same year.) It will be back in Chicago in December of 2010, at the Cadillac Palace Theater. Tickets are available now from the Cadillac Theater box office web site.

"Wicked" ran in Chicago from 2005-2009 -- not the world premiere, but the first non-Broadway production. The National Touring Company will be in Chicago from December 2010 through January 2011
