Can you use psychology in your everyday life?

You can to some extent, to help reason out the reasons for the environment and those in it. Be careful, however, not to diagnose your friends and family. It is easy to want to pick someone's brain, but it tends to come off badly and you may offend or even outright alienate them.

The best way to understand human nature or certain charateristics of a person is to study human behavior as a whole. When you understand that your perceptions color your personal understandings you may be more likely to get a better understanding of others in context of your enviornments. Try reading a basic psycholgy text book first.
